Parking is free at Hershey’s Chocolate World for two hours but if you stay longer, you will be charged a $25 daily fee.
What is the Factory Tour Ride?
The Factory Tour ride is a fun experience for the whole family. First, guests will go through a line that has history all over the walls about Milton Hershey and the Hershey Company. When at the front, guests will get in a car with either Hershey Bar, Reese Cup or Kiss theming.
Next, guests will go through a “factory tour” where mascots tell you how the chocolate is made and where it comes from. But keep in mind, this is not the actual factory, just a reimagined
At the end of the ride, there is a photo op guests can purchase and everyone gets a free chocolate bar. After exiting the ride, guests are in the middle of a huge candy shop and food court with many tasty treats.
What is there to eat at Hershey’s Chocolate World?
Hershey’s Chocolate World has a cafeteria area next to the retail and chocolate shop where guests can build their own mac and cheese bowl, have some pizza or a salad. Also, there is a large pretzel that can be purchased that seemed very popular.
As far as dessert, Hershey has you covered because there are huge cookies, milkshakes, cupcakes and so many more treats!
What kind of shopping is there?
Shopping at Chocolate World is a unique experience because they have a large variety of candies and merchandise with those candies on them. Guests can purchase t-shirts, pants, mugs, bowls and many more items with their favorite candy’s logo printed on them.
Also, Chocolate World is a great place to get gifts for the chocolate lover in your family.
Another great part of Hershey’s Chocolate World is the amount of candy they have for sale. Many times, guests will see newer candies out or just a different version of their favorite there for purchase. Also, this is great time to grab that extra large Hershey Bar.
How close is Chocolate World to Hershey Park?
As a matter of fact, Hershey Park is walking distance from Chocolate World. When arriving at Hershey’s Chocolate World, from the front doors, you can actually see HersheyPark and some of the roller coasters.
But if you are planning on a day at the park, make sure to take advantage of purchase storage. Hershey’s Chocolate World will hold your purchases for you while you are in the park.
How long does it take to go through?
Honestly, it depends on what kind of group you are with. I have small kids and they usually want to ride the tour a couple of times. But if you have older kids, once would probably be enough.
Also, if you plan on eating here, it could take a while because the lines can get long. Remember, the free parking is only for two hours.
