Fast and Easy No Bake Protein Balls Ingredients

How to make no bake protein balls

First, you will need almond butter, protein powder (I prefer a chocolate whey), maple syrup and some mini chocolate chips. The mini chocolate chips are nice because they get more spread out and you get more little bites of chocolate!

Optimum Nutrition whey protein is what I use but I have not tried this with non whey powders so I’m not sure how they would turn out.

Next, combine protein powder, almond butter, maple syrup and chocolate chips in a medium bowl and mix until all the protein powder has been incorporated into the mixture and it looks uniform.

Roll up the no bake protein balls

After that, you will want to roll them into little balls and then you can cut little strips of wax paper to place each one in. Each recipe makes 16 balls.

Lastly, place the rolled balls in an airtight container and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to firm up.

These no bake Protein Balls are versatile

The best part about this recipe is you can modify it to your tastes. Sticky sweeteners such as honey or agave would work well. Nuts would also be a nice substitute for the chocolate and you could even use peanut butter. The possibilities are endless and so tasty!
